Beir Bua offers high-quality, evidence-based talks provided by professionals, including certified psychologists, counselors, and other experts. Our sessions are designed to be engaging, informative, and directly address the challenges faced by your school.
How do you ensure the content is relevant to our school’s needs?
All of our talks have a bespoke element to ensure they reflect the specifics concerns and interests of each school and community. After booking a talk with us you will be offered a consultation to help us understand your individual circumstances. You’re free to decide that there’s no need for this step, and it’s not strictly necessary, but the consultation can offer a chance to make sure you get the most out of each talk.
How do you ensure that we are receiving the highest quality talks and workshops?
Quality and continuous improvement are pillars of Beir Bua Education’s ethos, and we take great care to maintain our standards. After each talk, we, subject to approval, invite participants to take a brief 5-minute survey after each talk.
This not only provides participants with an opportunity to grade our presentations but also to recommend areas for deeper exploration or suggest modifications. These surveys are used to ensure that our talks remain both engaging and effective to all audiences. While each survey is anonymous we are always open to sharing the results with the school.
Are your speakers qualified to discuss sensitive topics with students?
Absolutely. All our speakers are, at a minimum, trained counselors. Many are also certified psychologists with years of experience in the field.
Can we request specific topics or speakers for our session?
Of course! We encourage schools to express their preferences so we can deliver a session that’s most impactful for your community. Please contact us directly if there is a particular speaker you’d like to have visit your school.
Do Patricia and Stella give talks themselves?
Yes, both Patricia and Stella give talks themselves. You can specifically request that one of the two visit your school, should you so wish, but due to their schedule they are less available at short notice and there may be an additional charge.
Can I receive a discount if I agree to give you a testimonial?
As a new company we deeply appreciate clients being willing to provide us with testimonials supporting our work. However, it would be unethical of us to provide a discount in exchange for a testimonial as that might bias clients to be unduly positive towards us and so we do not provide discounts, or any other kind of incentive beyond our thanks, to provide us with testimonials.
Are there any circumstances in which you would provide your services at a discounted rate?
We normally offer discounts when schools are purchasing multiple talks from us in a single day, or are looking to purchase a bespoke package. If you would struggle to meet the cost of some of our talks, but you feel your school would benefit from us coming, please email us directly at info@beirbuaeducation.ie and we’ll see if we can.
How flexible are your scheduling options?
We understand the complexities of school schedules. Our team is adaptive and can work with you to find suitable timings, whether it’s during school hours, after school, or even during weekends for special sessions.
